Reeves Corner furniture shop. its just next to the tram line so that's added misery for thousands in the morning.

Looks like the police kept em all out of the high street so they couldnt loot the shops so they just set fires all around it. Croydon is a massive town centre (comparable to some city centres) however the majority of the housing stock to the north and west can only be described as a ghetto.

why is it that the riots happen in black areas?

Maybe if those living in these areas actually had futures, interms of prospects like the middleclass kids have who wonder along to the grammar school near your home everyday.... Maybe they wouldn't have the need to loot the local jd sports?

Police made a massive error by not putting down a marker earlier on tonight and dealing firmly with the situaion in Hackney.

All the scrotes in local areas have watched the police backing off and viewed it as a green light to go on the rampage in their borough.
