I keep hearing this and think, why?

I know the sony complex took a right pasting but surely a multi million dollar company would be covered for any loses and not the labels/artists.

I think a lot of indie labels used the warehouse too, not sure if they were subsidiaries of Sony or not though.

The concept of record labels died a long time ago for me, they're worse than useless.
