Thats really sad news.
RIP pal.
RIP pal.
@Simon Le Tom and Al sum Ant up perfectly. I have great memories of the 5 a sides and football matches, and sitting together with him and the lads in the South Stand. We all saw our first title together there and Ant was so much fun to be around. His wicked sense of humour and awful football opinions made going to the matches more fun!Gutted obviously. I met Ant through this forum, and after the 5 a sides and bluewatch games we became good friends and had season tickets together at City for a number of years. We didn't see each other as much over recent years but we had a bite to eat and catch up before he got married - the first thing he said when he saw me was "Look how grey you've gone!". He always was always cheeky little...!
We shared a few texts after that to keep in touch but I didn't know he'd become unwell so it came as a shock when his dad told me the news on Thursday. I spoke to his dad who is obviously cut up. I'm in touch with his mum who is also heartbroken. This isn't going to be easy. Ant is going to be sorely missed
Couple of pics - first was from a 5 a side tourney at the etihad (Ant front middle). Second is from the game vs Bluewatch - Ant on the left, Tom, Ric and me. Was a good laugh with good people back in the day:

But this is how I'll always remember Ant - ranting a load of (funny) nonsense whilst we all laugh along at the show he was putting on. This was circa 2011/12 in the south stand when we had season tickets together:

He was always great company. I always looked forward to seeing him. He was always great fun. And he will always be missed.
RIP Ant. I loved the lad
Thoughts with his family who are obviously heartbroken.
A few of us will be going to Ants funeral. When plans are made I'll share details with anyone else who would like to pay their respects.
Alex

The pic of him chatting nonesense above sums him up and the fact Peewee is laughing during his rant sums him up perfectly.
He'll be missed and my heart goes out to Mike and his family.
Some pics below, the first at a birthday part, second when we played at the Etihad (Ant front and centre) and the last one of the Aguero day before the magic enfolded.
Love you Ant x

Such a shame for one so youngHave heard the very sad news that @AntonDonJuan passed away on Wednesday evening, aged just 36. Longer term users on here may well remember him from the 5 and 11-aside games we had back in the day, plus many get togethers in town. He was a great lad, and it is heart breaking to hear that he has passed away so young. He only got married just over a year ago, and had his whole life ahead of him. Thoughts are very much with his friends and family. RIP mate.

Reading all the posts on hear is heartbreaking yet very very comforting at the same time. It is really appreciated. For those who knew him within the City Community, he was a funny lad and his 1st game was when he was 4 years old at Maine Road. His Uncle Paul took him to the midweek game. He spent most of his Primary School days getting his head turned because City were so bad (as we all know). He stood his ground and never looked back. We spent years and years going to the games together and I classed him as my Son 1st but also my best friend.Have heard the very sad news that @AntonDonJuan passed away on Wednesday evening, aged just 36.
