Perhaps we will now be able to walk down Commonwealth Way to the Stadium, it was a complete and utter waste of public money.

Must say I quite liked it.

It's a shame that the only official reminder that we had a great Commonwealth Games in Manchester, is no longer in place.
The atmosphere in Manchester in 2002 during the games was electric.

Seems slightly strange we don't feel the need as a city to commemorate that.
