Sadly it was never said by anyone during commentary as far as it is known. The idea came from a letter written by a lady called Tess Tickle ...It actually was the batsman is Willey as in Peter Willey.
I always remember watching cricket at that time hoping for D Lillee c P Willey b G Dilley and it happened, but think the "Holding Willey" idea came from that ...
