Very sad news. Bobby Kennedy, Skip and now Dennis. RIP Lawman.

Yes been a sad week for Manchester football.

When people talk about genuinely world class players who have played for City, who weren’t past their prime when they did, he often gets missed off, simply because of where his apogee as a player was - but he was an incredible footballer, who like Colin Bell, would have stood out in any era.

Sadly Denis for the last few years Dennis suffered from Alzheimers and dementia. A prolific scorer for both Manchester clubs and Scotland, he will be remembered for superb finishing skills and flamboyant play. The 1974 backheel against United stands out in memory. RIP a true legend

Not forgetting Bobby Kennedy either. Three significant MCFC deaths in a week or so. Awful times.

Bobby was a member of City’s 1967-68 title squad for any Blues unfamiliar with his name.

I’d rather it was a minute’s silence, especially considering Skip was a very good manager, as well as a great player, who was associated with the club for nearly 60 years.
