RIP Denny Laine (ex Moody Blues & Wings)

He's got good taste kidda.
Although not Denny, there’s an advert for men’s aftershave, on the telly at the moment, that features Night in White Satin. I said to my family “Who cannot think of our Chris, when this advert comes on?” such is the stamp on our brain of linking The Moody Blues with my brother. BTW, he has got good taste, it was he that took me to my first match way back in ‘75:)

Good man! I think I've left a similar mark with my family with The Kinks. I was reading up a bit on Denny last night and he was a very talented musician.

That’s the beauty with having older siblings. I had five, with all having such different wonderful musical tastes.

I like a bit of Ed Sheeran (Only a few songs and one is a Beatles cover "My Life")
Calvin Harris
Jason Derelu (SP) One somng

Then..

The Hollies
The Beatles
Oasis
The Commadores
The Doobie Brothers
Tom Jones
BTO
AFRO MAN

Music is or can be too much of a scene for people when they are younger, wrapped up in politics people of a certain nature can be entrenched and miss out of the eclectic multiverse of goodness from Kermit on the stairs to Kraftwerk ;)
