That was my school. Apparently lived towards Great Western Street.

Eddie lived round the corner from me late 70s in Bury. Delivered his newspaper, a suitcase with a BBC Seaside Special sticker on it was in his porch quite often. RIP Eddie top bloke.

I was never a fan of Eddie as a comedian, but he was a committed blue, which far outweighs the bad jokes. RIP Mr. LARGE.

Seen him coming out of the main entrance at Brighton after the game, I think it was the one when we invaded the pitch at the end,? He jumped on a coppers motorbike and gave everyone a laugh. He was there throughout the shit years and always had a word for us on telly.R.i.p Eddie.
