Drummer from Husker Du, one of my very favorite bands ever. They didn't quite invent American post-punk, but deserve a lot of credit for it. Without them, there's probably no Pixies, certainly no Green Day, and maybe no Nirvana. Drat. I was even holding out hope for a reunion someday . . .
