This week I said goodbye to my mum a true City fan, her and my dad are the reasons I am a lifelong City fan.
She was 90 years old yet up to 18 months ago she still went to a few games each season, not disabled seats but normal seats in the east stand.
She was a long time season ticket holder, I don’t know exactly how long but it was over 50 years, she had a City scarf that was so old (at least 60 years old) it had gone blue and yellow.
She joins my dad in the big stand in the sky, this season is going to be strange without her talking about the games and the players after each match, she even had the full sky sports package so as not to miss a game.
RIP mum you are already missed.
