That is so upsetting. My favourite film of all time now forever associated with tragedy
 
He was brilliant as Jordan Belfort’s Dad in Wolf of Wall Street.

Murdered by their own son. Fucking bad that.
 
Horrendous news about Rob Reiner. A lovely man who made a string of very fine movies, including two of the greatest adaptations of a Stephen King (my favourite author) story; “Stand by Me” is one of my favourite movies, one of the greatest about adolescent friendship. His films always had heart.

RIP Mr & Mrs RR.

When I first heard it, i immediately thought of Rob Rinder, ITV’s answer to Judge Judy.

Only when the newsreader mentioned Los Angeles, did I realise he was talking about someone I’d never heard of.

Go watch This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, Misery, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, and The Princess Bride. You'll have a blast and you'll have definitely heard of him after a run like that.

Plus, it's worth mentioning - the phrases "These go to 11", "You wanna see a dead body?", "I'll have what she's having", "You can't handle the truth" and the concept of a "bucket list" all come from his films.

I’ve watched When Harry Met Sally, but I’m not a film fan, nor much of a TV fan.

I listen to Boom Radio, except when City are playing.
