Had to have this big lad put to sleep this afternoon.
Had a wonderful 18 years with him.
God bless you Big lad
We still have one left, a ginger Tom who is also 18 but he certainly doesn't act itaww mate feel for you - our Millie is 18 and still going but we do feel on the end of a precipice.
I'd advise getting back on the horse when you are ready - my last cat made it to 23 and I thought it would be our last but we all missed the companionship and snuggles as I am afraid you will have to persevere with for now.
Looking at Tiger he looks a big snuggly rascal - you'll never replace him exactly but your soul needs the renewal of a new cat or two - adopt don't buy when you do please and good luck

He iscan't imagine life without a cat. We had cats and dogs when I was a kid always pref cats. Got my 23 yo off my Granddad who's cat had a litter. Took her to my mums coz she had fleas and my mum took care of it for me and her comment was " she's a flecky bugger isn't she " and so the name Flecky was given. When she died 23 years later my granddad was dead as was my mum and the sense of loss was immense as she was my last living link to both. Even my wife who was always a bit ambivalent missed having a cat around which is why we got another. With hindsight we maybe should have got another too. You enjoy Tom - I bet he's a cracker.
