Another top Blue gone to the stand in the sky.
Many of the regular away fans will know Tom as the lad who was always with Merv the swerve.
This has been a crap year for losing so many top top Blues who followed the team everywhere, throughout are darkest days.
Condolences to Toms family and friends.
God bless

That’s terrible news. Used to see Tom and Merve everywhere. Proper home and away dyed in the wool Blues. Always friendly and more than happy to chat. Usually the worse for wear, looking after each other. You’ll see them both in the Kippax in the sky. RIP.

FFS!!!! Rest in Peace blue brother, was a pleasure to have known you

message from Toms sister:
we would love his city friends to be there at the funeral.
It’s family flowers only at the funeral with any donations to Cancer Research
For anyone wanting to attend
We will say our final goodbyes to Thomas on the 8th of October ,10am at Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in reddish, Stockport. Thomas will be laid to rest with mum and dad at 11:30 am at Southern Cemetery.
Venue for the wake has not yet been finalised
There is no dress code, but as you all know Thomas wouldn’t say no to somebody wanting to wear a city shirt
It will be good to meet some of the people he spent time with he was def a true blue and we still can’t believe he s gone
Thanks and see you there
