RIP

It could have been anyone one of us, there but for the grace of God.

RIP

Thoughts are with those that lost their loved ones.

the whole thing makes me distraught, even now. I could go on about it, but it would sound like I was blaming the fans, when the opposite was the truth. I am just thankful that in this age, the deaths are so few and far between.

RIP to the dead, love to those left to carry on in their absence.

a tragic and sad loss, all our hearts go out to the family and freinds of the people who lost their lives, x

as an evertonian, in fairness to liverpool fans, some just get on with their lives as best they can. at the end of the day 96 innocent people died on that day or shortly after. police and government cover ups continued to distract the blame away.and fair play to all of you for just saying R.I.P.

Ironically, on that day I had gone to the other semi final with a Norwich supporting friend, to Villa Park, for the other semi final of Norwich vs Everton.

I fully appreciate being rammed in as must have the Everton fans and also City fans in 81 at the Holte End at Villa Park.

As has been said before, the place was heaving and but for the grace of God it could have been us (or alot of other football fans)

At the time, we were oblivious to what was going on at Hilsborough, it wasn't until we stopped off at a service station on the way home and I rang me mum to put the bathwater on cos I was meant to be going out on the razz that night ( there were no mobiles back then) and she burst into tears, thanking God I was alive because as a non-footballing fan, she didn't know which semi final I had gone to.

What I'm getting at is of those 96 that died that day they were sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunties, brothers, sisters, friends, neighbours, cousins of SOMEBODY

You would, naturally, be devastated

R.I.P.
