Bump. Leonard Rossiter, one of our very finest comic actors died 40 years ago.

Wonderful actor. Never forget "12 minute delay at Clapham Junction, sheep on the line." But didn't realize at the time that he was capable of much more variety in his acting than tv comedy.

40 years since he died, bloody hell.

There’s a great episode of Steptoe & Son in which Rossiter player an escaped lag on the run which is worth a watch.
