Riyad Mahrez

Basically Leicester screwed themselves. They will be lucky to get 10 games out of Mahrez before the season ends. That's a costly error.

Basically Leicester are a greedy shithouse club and their greed backfired now. But it's City who are ruining football for paying so much money for players... not at all the fault of twats like Leicester who take piss asking £95m for a player they bought for £500k

Just took a look at one of the Leicester City fan's forums. It's being reported there that Mahrez is buying a house in London, they seem to think he will be more likely going to Arsenal in summer, rather than ourselves.

Not sure if this has been mentioned previously but why didn't he and his agent negotiate a get out/ buy out clause in his new contract he got last year. Surprised considering he wanted out so badly last year.

It's very strange that, either his agents not very good or it he just took the owner at his word , naive if that's what happened .

The only reason i could think of is he probably did it as a favor to the club. Signing a contract extension without a release clause means the club can fetch the maximum transfer fee for him.

I am assuming his current contract was signed before he moved over to Kia Joorabchian.

There were several stories in the press last week reported in here that he 'preferred Arsenal'. Who as far as we know have not bid for him and - being Arsenal seem about as likely to offer anywhere near £95 million as we do to turn to Wayne Rooney instead of Mahrez in the Summer.

He will go to whoever pays what it takes to get out of there if they have what he perceives as a shot at winning things. He isn't that fussed over money as much as success from what I can see.

If he really wanted Arsenal you would have assumed he would be happy and playing and trying to persuade them to break the bank. His actions now do not suggest he dodged a bullet by not having to sign for City instead of Arsenal.
