I remember very well what I said Oakie, I also remember what you said and called you out on it, but strangely you went very quiet. And no I don't think he's worth 90m or 67m 50-60m about right and I have stated that on this forum simply imho because he isn't as good as what we have in midfield aside from Gundog. I also want to see Foden get more game time and no matter what people will say on here Mahrez's arrival will lessen the chances of Foden getting starts unless we ship out Gundog.
I didn`t go missing. It was just pointless trying to have a sensible debate with someone who was/is clearly a non lover of one of the best forwards in this league.

I really really don't want to be a dick, but with all due respect comparing Mahrez and Nolito is like comparing De Bruyne and Xhaka. Mahrez is the far better dribbler, much more prolific, better assist numbers too. I don't think we have anything to worry about. Don't forget Nolito's struggles were largely down to a failure to adapt to the league while Mahrez knows the league as well as anyone.

Also FWIW I miss Nolito. Nolito was cool.

Its ok, to make myself clear I dont doubt Pep decision making and I support this transfer and I absolutely agree that Nolito failed mainly due to his problem to adapt but I cant help but to see him when I watch Mahrez style of play and yes, I also really liked Nolito and I think he could have been so much better if he adapted which ofc is not a problem with Mahrez as he is seasoned PL player with great numbers all around.

Am I the only one who find Mahrez to be somehow close to Nolito in terms of his playstyle and so on. I mean, Nolito was not terrible but his pace turned out to be big problem so I hope it will not happen to Mahrez as well because I still think he is faster than Nolito.
Yes. You may be the only one.

Now I don't want to call you out but I think your shoelaces are undone pal.

Lol

£67m in today's market for Mahrez is a good deal. We know you haven't been keen from the start, but he is City player now so get behind him

Sorry fella you appear to be confusing too issues here. Me not thinking the lad is not worth smashing our transfer record for and wondering like many blues who he will drop, Foden, Bernado, Sterling, Sane, KDB or silva to squeeze in. And me not supporting a player who turns put in a City shirt. I suggest you keep your assumptions to your self in future.

Ps what's the difference between you thinking 67m is a good deal and me questioning it? It's a forum for debate is it not?

Check my last message mate, I loved Nolito and I enjoyed his game to and extend and I am sad how it turned out in the end. Also, with this statement I did not mean to take it as something bad towards Mahrez, more like a posibility that a playstyle that works perfectly in specific style of play might not work that well in our style of play. I still believe in Pep and I will cheer Mahrez and hope I am just needlessly negative about it. :-)
