I hope he sells Gundog for 50m as rumoured. Then Mahrez for 67m would look very good value and the squad would undoubtedly have been significantly improved.

How would selling a player at a completely different position make the squad better? Who's covering Fernandinho?

Assuming the typical bench will look something like Bravo, Danilo, Otamendi, Delph, Sterling, bernardo and Jesus (with the option of Kompany, Gundogan, Foden, Nmecha and Diaz) this is a very strong squad. The biggest concern, imo, is the lack of cover for Fernandinho but as others have said, Danilo and KDB can play in that role.

With mahrez we can be alot more flexible too when it comes to games we can play 3-5-2 with raz/jesus and kun uptop and mahrez winging or even move mahrez central and give silva/kdb some time off

So you drop Sterling for someone who scores less goals and creates less assists? Why doesn't Mahrez start on the bench? Oh he can't he's our most expensive buy?? Is that right?
