This issue for some is that we have Raz/Bernardo on the right and only sane on the left. 3-5-2 and other permutations that I’m sure pep will come up With might solidify that side moreso than last Szn but Mahrez isn’t exactly my choice. Not gonna whine like a spoiled child but I think there is room to question the signing.

Mahrez is good, but in my opinion not great. He's not a better player than Sterling, Sané or Bernardo, so I don't really see how he strengthens us apart from boosting the numbers. Much prefer Hazard, Bale or Mbappe.

Allowing Stirling to play through middle on occasions

Additional competition for Sane - Stirling can play left side and Mahrez right.

Additional goal scoring

Additional first class delivery from dead balls

Great signing if it happens

He opens up defense and runs at his defenders.. has one of the smoothest crossovers Iv ever seen too, would create even more chances in our time. I was kind of disappointed we missed out in January so it a big yes for me
