Saw him on BBC Breakfast a couple of days ago with Kevin teaching young kids rugby. Feels very apt now. He kept fundraising and doing whatever he could until the very end.

RIP Rob Burrow, such awful news to just read. An amazing family man and such a battler. Thinking about his family at this terrible time.........as for Kevin Sinfield, there simply are not enough words to describe this man and his actions in support of his best mate!!! God Bless you both x

So sad. I loved Rob as player, darting here and there, probing.
I never met him but all and sundry spoke highly of him.

An amazing and very brave man. He fought so hard and when Kevin Sinfield carried him across the finishing line at their trek to raise awareness and money I confess I wept. I wept just now when Clive Myrie read that news and they showed the clip again.

Rest In Peace Rob you’ve done your job lad and much, much more. Condolences to your family and friends and especially Kevin Sinfield.

The world has lost a giant and I make no apologies for being voluble about him.
