As someone who’s sister was taken October last year with MND, I can honestly say it’s the most horrible disease. To see a loved one deteriorate so fast without any way of communicating or function is just horrible.

I’ve been fortunate to meet Sir Kev and he has to be the most genuine, humble person I’ve been fortunate to meet. I seen him pounding the streets of Saddleworth most Sundays, training for his charity events no doubt. We could all take a leaf out of his book.

Sad loss of a diminutive athlete, lovely man, respected friend, dad, son and great Rugby League player. Stricken down with an horrific disease who fought and carried on regardless. Thoughts go out to his friends and family at this incredibly sad time.
