= Premiership and maybe the CL too.

We are not far away from being complete.

I think they are gettable too.

The same Alves that is responsible for more of Messi's goals than any other player?? Barcelona don't need our money. I highly doubt they'd sell one of their best players and possibly the best right back in the world (depending on who you ask, of course).

And good luck negotiating with Bayern.

Don't like Robben, a real big headed little cretin by all accounts.

I just would not like some ego rubbing the rest of the squad the wrong way.
A great player on his day though.

Going to replace Richards with Alves then? Maybe 2 years ago.

Robben would be a good signing for the 15-20 games he'd play each season between an endless array of injuries.

Whats the point in buying alves we already have richards who is near enough unplayable at times, younger, and a future england right back and we have zaba aswell

robbens old and always injured

Alves didn't do much at 'boro. I think we would be better sticking with balo, dzeko and aguero

Sell Tevez, Kolo, Weiss, RSC, Bridge.

That should bring in around 35m

Bring back Guidetti as 4th striker and sign 1 or 2 players ..... Bale is probably ungettable so Lavezzi 20m, Hummels 20m should do, if we can get Bale that would be great.

If you think De Laurentis will give us Lavezzi for 20m you're crazy. Hummels is also a player valued at 30m in the market.

I honestly wonder what people are thinking when they suggest these kind of players.

We really have to slice the spending, FFP seems to be a joke to some on here?

Robben would be at least 30m + huge wages and with his age and injuries NO THANKS!

Alves again 30m+ and who are Barca going to replace him with?

We have to be looking at if we do spend big and disregard FFP... Martinez, Hazard and so on. They will be expensive but the outlay isnt bad when age and ability is taken into account.

I bet there will be just 1 transfer in over 15mil pounds this year, if any.

All the stars are here already, it will just be replacing some fringe players who leave because they get more playing time elsewhere.

Robben could move for only £10million according to the Mirror and is interested in coming back to England. Tempting but he misses so many games and his wages will be huge.

Pace and game changing ability is worth the risk and he scores against the rags too ;-)

Despite his quality goal against England Robben is on the decline, his performances each year for Bayern have gotten worse and worse and they are at a real low point now which is why he wants out

A much better option would be Ribery who is in the prime of his career and absolutely on fire and tore us apart in Munich, but would cost astronomical amounts of money

Very very true. Robben been dropped for quite a few Bayern games recently and is most likely looking for one more paycheck. Steer clear.

I think Robben is unhappy at Bayern. You can never write off that guys natural ability. You saw him for Holland. I remember reading that his dressing room nickname is a German word for "loner" or something of that description. The guy is pure class and he'd be talked about with the Messi's and Ronaldo's of the world if he had a better injury record. I don't think he's stayed fit for an entire season in his career. Despite this, he is a game changer and unplayable in form.

I remember for Chelsea Mourinho liked to keep him on the bench in big games as a not so secret weapon, because he was so good at producing that bit of magic to break a deadlock. He's the guy you pull off the bench to score the winner in a CL final (how I wish we still had him in 2008).

I'd have him back at SB in a heartbeat. He should have never been allowed to go, injuries or otherwise.

Amazing player. You've been very lucky to support CFC at this time

Hopefully our time has just begun. Just wish some of our fans would get a bit more excited about it. We win at home every game, and it becomes a matter of fact

£10 million for Robben ... he is easily one of the best footballers in the world and is only 28!

Get him and Sneijder and we will surely win the champions league.

Id take Ribery over Robben any day, i don't think he would cost as much as you may be thinking but i get what your saying. Haven't there been recent reports of Franck being unhappy at Bayern? im sure i remember something in the news....

I think Robben is the biggest **** in football!

And Alves might just be the most overrated player I've ever seen.
