Id take Ribery over Robben any day, i don't think he would cost as much as you may be thinking but i get what your saying. Haven't there been recent reports of Franck being unhappy at Bayern? im sure i remember something in the news....

in all fairness that doesnt really show that hes happy at bayern, more that hes close with robben, and for the record no i dont believe anything the media tells me

£10m? had only read the OP...erm...well we didn't exactly bring Hargreaves into regular first team and MJ we failed to bring back so I don't have that much faith that our medical department can handle him, specially with the Bellers issues from a few years ago, dunno if it's changed...If it was just £10m I'd buy him, sell AJ and use some of the money from Arjen, but really only if I was guaranteed my other targets as well, and he was a luxury buy.

I'm not sure if those two sentences are related or if I've missed a subtext to the thread, but Robben couldn't play RB to save his life. Remember his backpass in the Holland game? It was an accidental shot at his own goal.

Robben looking amazing in Bayern/Basel, already scored in 10 minutes and causing Basel all sorts of problems. Nearly unplayable when he's like this, better than any other winger just about. This sort of player could have near enough won us the league by now against those stubborn teams we can't break down away.

You are right, but ADUG owns City, and they will give them the money when the Sheik decide to do so.
