I think the MEN is slightly exaggerating ''our love'' for Robbie.......

He won the adulation of City fans for his goals and clever play around the penalty area.
But former Blues striker Robbie Fowler was also scoring in a very different field – property investment.
Now Fowler – who reportedly owns 80 mostly-terrace properties in the north west and is worth an estimated £28m – has set up a course for aspiring landlords to follow in his footsteps.
The Robbie Fowler Property Academy is offering two-hour workshops on disciplines such as ‘raising finance to buy property’ – perhaps not a problem for a Premier League footballer – and ‘how to spot and negotiate the best deals’.
Fowler’s skills in the property market are no secret – City fans could regularly be heard singing, ‘We all live in a Robbie Fowler house’ to the tune of the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine’ during his three-year spell in east Manchester.
While on his way to becoming the fourth-highest goalscorer in Premier League history, as well as 26 England caps, Fowler had shrewdly placed his twinkle-toe on the property ladder, snapping up relatively cheap houses to let.
Fowler said: “When I first started I didn’t know much about the property world but I had some good advice from the people who did. It was by putting that advice into practice that made my business go from strength to strength.
“It doesn’t matter what state the market’s in, there’s always money to be made, as long as you get the right education.”
Mancunians hoping to chat to Fowler face-to-face about the housing market are likely to be disappointed, though.
The four scheduled courses are all in the London area and, as the academy’s website points out, ‘Robbie Fowler will not attend these events.
