ROBINHO'S Manchester City future looks doomed after snubbing the club's Christmas party for foster kids.

City boss Mark Hughes was furious after the £32.5million Brazilian ignored his instructions to attend last Tuesday's bash at a bowling alley in Didsbury.

Robinho, 25, is alleged to have laughed at team-mates as they set off after training while he went home. Embarrassed City executives were forced to send a chauffer-driven car to fetch him from his luxurious Cheshire home.

But even then Robinho had to be coerced into finally turning up TWO HOURS late - just as the children were about to leave.

Robinho had been billed as the star attraction and an eye-witness inside the Parrs Wood Centre told the News of the World: "There was disappointment among parents and children.

"Everyone knew who to blame. They probably wanted to see him more than anyone else.

"All the other players and the manager were fantastic.

"You could tell they had little ones of their own and they were totally at ease with them.

"They were a credit to their club and their profession.

"But the feeling was that Robinho had shown some very unfortunate children a complete lack of respect.

"It just shows how one person can let the whole side down."

Embarrassed

Hughes will almost certainly impose a hefty fine on the controversial Brazilian.

City take their community commitments very seriously and only injured stars like Wayne Bridge and Craig Bellamy were excused from attending.

This is the latest in a string of incidents where the former Real Madrid player has openly flouted club rules and left officials embarrassed.

Last season on a UEFA Cup trip to Copenhagen, he ignored the team's dress code by wearing trainers with his suit, and not putting on a tie.

He was also fined two weeks' wages in January for leaving City's mid-season training camp in Tenerife without permission.

Where is he in this then?

Bullshit story in NOTW.

Robinho WAS at the bowling. The VIDEO of him bowling with the group is even on the Man City website.
He should sue them for creating a bad impression of his character.

And next week they will exclusively reveal how Robbie is solely to blame for global warming, swine flu and the global crash of the world's economies!

The above will of course lead to his impending departure from us....

It must be true because its in the NOW aka as the Sun. Looks like the NOW will soon be making a very nice contribution to one of citys chosen charities.

We all know he was there, but i don't think he was there with the rest of the squad. There is a video on the OS of him doing an interview, but none of the rest of the squad appear to be there. Then, he isn't even on the video that actually shows the entire squad bowling. So i genuinely do believe he was late, for whatever reason. The reason for his lateness, and the NOTW saying his future is in doubt is probably them just adding some juicy bits to it to make a story. But i reckon he was late.
