Nah, he's quality on BBC as it is and speaks a lot of sense on other football issues as well as City.

It would be a bit stupid having him on CityTV when he's never played for us.

City need people like Savage on national radio/tv. I grant him the status of independent EX-rag, and friend of Mancini, so we are always gonna get a 'decent press' off him. In house, we should be having City stalwarts.

Hated savage as a player but absolutely love him since he went down to the championship and got more involved with the media side of things. He's really funny knows his football is without any vendetta or bias doesn't take himself to seriously and will say whatever's on his mind. Great pundit. Hope he stays here and goes into punditry full time instead of moving to Canada, get him on motd with dixon and replace some of the predictable crap that comes from the likes of Hansen etc.

Mike Summerbee should be asked to do it. He seems to be at all the games anyway and always speaks about the club with passion and still has a love for all things city. He could talk to the players as an equal and should be able to ask the right questions and all us fans already love the guy

always liked savage. met him in a lift in leicester when he played for brum and he exchanged a bit of banter with my villa fan mate. All in good spirits. His mrs was fit as fook too.

Robbie Savage is out of contract in the Summer and is considering going into Media full time.

Who else would back him to work with CityTV, I think he'd be a great interviewer and a great character on camera.

Personally don't mind the guy. He speaks a lot of sense on 606 and although he had a spell at the rags, he has stated quite a few times that he supported Wrexham when he was younger.
