Cos he is making it up!!! Much as we enjoy seeing the rags slip into debt the situation at Liverpool is actually worse they where bought in much the same way. Earlier in the season they had to defer a payment of £20 million to the summer this still needs paying. It wouldn't be a straight swap they would need to send a fair wad our way as good a Alonso is he aint worth what we paid for Robbie. I am more likely to believe the rumours in the press that we will buy Alonso than swap robinho for him lets face it Liverpool need the money hence the stories going round about sellin the rights to name the new stadium if it happens
