Was his best away game in a City shirt today, was very good attacking wise, took his goal brilliantly and generally had a good game. However I do think he is generally better when we go a goal up and that's why he played so well, if we went 1 down, it would have probably been different, but fair play, top game today. I think he needs to stop going down so easy though, refs aren't going to buy it. Now let's see if we can have another decent away game out of him.

To all the people who call anyone who criticises him, clueless and thick. Have a look at yourselves, yeah he played well today, but if you think his performances and effort have been acceptable away from home before today's game then I'd suggest you's were the clueless / thick ones.

We praise when we see fit and we criticise when we see fit.
What a load of shite, Robinho has played like that away from home , i have been there but he has not scored he puts the effort in its his first season in the prem, and he is getting better. you cock
You must be easily pleased if you've been satisfied with his previous away performances but anyway, I'm not going to argue as he played well today and this is a positive thread.
Like i said your a cock
A cock that knows his football. ;)

well for me it was just a matter of waiting, this poor lad has had it from everywhere, the police, the press and then the daft twats who read the papers and came on here trying to say he was a flop...i m pleased for the lad

i agree 100%, ok he had a good (rare) game away from home, but how anyone can defend the MAJORITY of his away day performances is beyond me

no we know he cant play well every week, but we also knew that he was a young man in england for the first time, had the police on his back, the press always on his back because he didn t sign for chelsea and you lot saying he was crap, all we were saying was give the lad a chance

hes WORLD class dont get me wrong on his day, i just think he either can be bothered or cant, some games hes put no effort in, which is a disgrace IMO, lets see how consistant he is till the end of the season

i m not really having a go at you connor, just saying that he has had quite a lot of shit thrown at him, so of course it is bound to affect him

he is from South America. He is quite a slight man. His English is limited. He has been slated in the press. He has had a court case hanging over him. He has played lots of games in a very physical league.

No wonder he has not been fantastic iin every game. Anyone who thinks he should be in either stupid or naive about football in the premier league. The tabloids in this country - and some broad sheets are a disgrace to the country.

I for one think rob has done very well this season, some ups and downs but i would be devastated to see him go.

How many goals has he scored?

Potentially the greatest player we have EVER had in our history

yeah i agree mate, i think next year, with better players around him and nothing on his mind, and a years experience in the premier league, we will see the real robinho, like we did today because he was brilliant

I'll hold my hands up and say well done today.

I've never doubted his talent but his desire and attitude haven't been up to scratch at times. I have said on a few occasions that sometimes he just isn't effective and perhaps isn't right for us.

Today and for the last couple of weeks he has looked well up for it and we look more of a threat when he is like that.

It is his first season here and it would never be easy for him with the new league and expectations on him. I can accept a player having a bad run but at times his attitude in games has disappointed me. I know not every player can be an Ireland who works his socks off every match but there have been times I have felt he just hasn't cared enough and it's hurt me.

Hopefully next season he has more days like today and is more consistent. Well done Robbie.

Spot on mate

He was exceptional today ...... his workrate and skill troubled Everton all afternoon , and his pass for Irelands goal was superb ......... he might even have had a hat-trick if he hadn't just put the ball the wrong side of a post , and then again when Caicedo opted to fluff a shot instead of playing the unmarked Robinho in.

Anyone having a pop at him in my eyes is simply someone who cant form their own opinion and rely's on media stories to form what they think.
He's a slight Brazilian lad who was totally unused to our game , he has adapted much better than we could ever have expected. He's charasmatic as anyone who has watched him train will testify to. My son watching Robinho every other week adores him as I do.
To blame him for our poor away days with this sex allegation and him being in a new country and away from his family hanging over him is pathetic and people should be ashamed of themselves.
Where the fuk have you clowns been these last 30 years watching the dross we have been served up.
I love him , my nephew does and we know football

Fair post but why when people criticise him do we 'have no opinion of our own' and why do we get told we're just 'listening to the media'. We could say the same about people on here are just listening to other posters and forming no opinion for themselves. Why would we waste our time copying things out the media. If the media's opinions is the same as ours, it doesn't make it wrong.

Amen to that!

Robinho makes me feel like a kid again. Theres just something awe inspiring about him. Footballers dont usually make me feel star struck, but at games when he is warming up, you just cant help but feel that majig about him.

He can break my heart but my god can he make me happy. Today was fucking incredible. One thing is for sure. I want him to be here for years and years. i am a Robinho fanboy.
