Same here, but I’m saying the club doesn’t feel like us clearlyI was in the ‘no’ team. Same for Ronaldo.
I probably wasn’t very clear. I was saying in my opinion we dont need to buy a legend, we‘ve proven we can make them. Kev, Aguero, Silva, Kompany...Same here, but I’m saying the club doesn’t feel like us clearly
Well good question. arguably nobody. The idea that he's only worth getting if he's around 10m is incredible IMO. Yes, he's 33 but he doesn't look anywhere near finished at the top of the game to me.Who’s better than him?
Yes, obviously the club hoped Roberts would kick on but it was still a punt. If you think signing someone right at the top of the game in a position that we are desperate to fill is worth less than that punt just because you might only get a year or two of a literal world class striker, fair enough. I don't agree. Totally agree that Bayern wouldn't sell him to us though. I don't accept the point about not fitting the business model. Obviously it would depend how much we could get him for, I'm sure he wouldn't fit the model at 100m but I reckon we'd be prepared to pay a fair bit more than 10m if we thought we could get him. But all moot because no chance we get him.I'll point out the obvious - we did the Patrick Roberts deal hoping he'd make the grade, or at least be worth more when it came time for him to move on.
Lewandowski proven, but:
Bayern ain't selling to us ever
No value going forward
Doesn't fit our general business model
We overpaid on Grealish already. There’s no turning back now, whether people realize it or not
Anything south of £50m would represent a good price for Lewandowski.has be a cheap price, say £10m otherwise it's pointless.
Is this happening or another pipedream?Anything south of £50m would represent a good price for Lewandowski.
