I don't understand Abramovich at all.

I think it makes sense in business terms to replace RDM with Benitez. If we assume that RDM salary is £2M, while Torres is worth 50M and at salary of 8M. I would say Benitez is not a worse manager than RDM and historically Benitez had brought the best out of Torres. If Benitez does the same with Torres then this is an excellent move to protect the club's equity.

Abramovic will listen to advices an accountant as much as his football adviser.
