Roberto Mancini

Bit of a mard arse wasn't he

his finest hour was not shaking Terry's hand at stamford bridge before the bellamy masterclass,5-2 i think it was when we blitzed them
4-2.

Two each for Craig and Carlos.

Brilliant comments by Bellers about captain, leader, racist post-match too.

Just looked it up, and it was nearly 11 1/2 years ago. Bloody hell!

I wonder what the reaction would be on here if David Silva or Pab Zab had said what Bridge said?

Mancini gave us some of the best moments we've had as Blues but that doesn't mean he wasn't a total twat a lot of the time. And Wayne Bridge might not be a City legend, and it might well be sour grapes, but that doesn't mean he wasn't right.

Well considering David Silva still interacts with Mancini and he is one of this clubs biggest legends and Wayne Bridge doesn’t and he is one of this clubs biggest bellends, it doesn’t take a genius to work out who‘s opinion to trust.

I too would be pissed off if I had a cushy £90,000 a week contract for doing fuck all and some hard faced Italian was making it harder for me to rip off the club and the fans anymore.

Mancini may have been a twat but the was here to get things right, not to make friends with waste of space players like Bridge or the Kitman, he’s just won the Euros for his country whilst Bridge is spouting off with Tubes and Nedum Onouha, says it all.

That is a load of nonsense. If Zaba and Silva weren't happy then I would respect their opinions, this is hardly new information about Mancini.

Bridge piping up every so often to tell tales on how bad Mancini was because his own career amounted to fuck all and has nothing else going on his life annoys me.

I have no respect for someone who sat on his arse and did fuck all for this club, he has even had a laugh about injuring himself whilst on holiday and then to get around the backlash from it he got Nedum to put one on him to "injure" him. How can you have any sort of respect for someone who not only did that but is more than happy to laugh about it.

Mancini was hardly wrong on how he treated Bridge imo, we got what we needed when Roberto joined, someone who took no shit and saw through the mercenaries we had at the time. He fucked them off sharpish and our results after reflected it.
The defensive improvement was plain to see during Bobby's first game in charge.

He spent the rest of the first season getting that right, then built an attack to match, and we played some beautiful football in the first few weeks of the Cup-winning season, until teams started to park the double-decker.

Yep, While the biggest legend of them all our Sergio actually goes out of his way in his Book to say he never once had a problem with Bobby, Couldn't praise him enough.

Bridge is entitled to not like Mancini, maybe he’s even justified in so doing. I don’t know the truth about that and neither does anyone else on here, most likely.

Doesn’t make any difference to Mancini‘s status at this club, or what he achieved here, or the right of City fans to love him because of those things.

Both propositions can quite easily co-exist. Maybe he was a **** to Bridge, but he tore that fucking banner down, so I can live with it!

Add Micha Richards to Silva.

A player who took a lot of stick from Mancini for various reasons but even so still speaks highly and with much respect about Roberto.
