We should have got all his uniform back when we sacked him and Dullsbury power?

Really?

On a serious note now....Bob had it all with us and if he had accepted the structure in place and agreed to work with it, he wouldn't have got the boot imo. He ultimately bit the hand that fed him and he can blame nobody but himself for how things panned out.

he was asked to be txaxi's joey. no chance.
pellers is perfect for that role. he's a manager lite.

I don't disagree mate but it is what it is. You employ lads and they do it your way, that's how it works when you are an employee and if you don't like it you go.

Is it the right way for us as a club to do it? I want to say yes. Coaches instead of managers, all teams playing the same way with natural progression from junior sides up to the first team and no disruption when a coach moves on because the next one is ready but it does put a lot of pressure on the D of F and he has to get everything right for it to succeed.

Right now we have a Championship winning squad but we can all see there are some glaring issues that need to be fixed and quickly and its falling increasingly at Txiki's door to get that done if he and the club wants coaches and not managers.

Why do we have a 39 page thread about an ex manager?

I assume that as a successful former manager of ours many people still have a lot of time for him and wish to keep tabs on how he's doing.

There's one discussing Pearce at Forest a bit further down if you wish to question that too.

Inter scored a goal from a corner you say and kept a clean sheet. I remember the days when we did things like that and we took such simple things for granted.

No one forces you to contribute to it.

I'm not complaining -merely wondering.

I'ms surprised there isn't a 97 page Alan Ball thread.

to be fair there isn't much in the way of breaking news in that case...

We have a Noel Galagher thread and he never managed or played for us. We have threads about ex players who were dreadful. We have threads about a ticket tout, We have threads about pies, food prices, the metrolink, the Asda etc etc; and they actually make it onto the Bluemoon Forum. Our most successful manager in a generation is ostrasised to the General Forum.
Agenda! Agenda!

Lol.. Because he is an ex MANAGER who in fact won us trophies!! I am sure Pelle will also get his fair share of threads when he leaves.. Heck Mark Hughes had one and he won nothing..

But humour.. If you got married and had 3 beautiful kids and after a couple of years you decided to get a divorce and remarried.. Would you never ever utter your ex partners name at allll?? or talk about your ex partner in your house??

I don't really think the two examples are comparable.

Crazy night for Inter and Mancini last night. Finished 3 - 3 against Celtic at Celtic Park. Inter were 2 - 0 up and cruising after 15 minutes. Sounds like it was a real competition of who can defend the worst out of the two sides though because neither particularly covered themselves in any glory.

Still Inter will be favourites for the return leg. I'd completely forgotten that they were in the Europa league, it's a route for Bobby and the club back into the CL because I think in the Serie A they're too far behind the CL places. There's obviously better teams than Inter left in the competition but if Mancini can get over his European blind spot then it's a competition which he should be aiming to go far in. Especially now they've practically got one foot in the quarter finals.
