Roberto Mancini

Sounds like someone is very bitter lol....

Wayne Bridge opens up on hatred for Italy's Euro 2020 boss Roberto Mancini

The ex-City star told bettingexpert's The Big Stage : "It really hurt me because I hate Mancini, everyone knows I have no love for him.

"I wouldn't say he's the worst I've had, but tactically he isn't that great. What he did was good, which hurts to say.”

"Not only was my family cheering for England, they were cheering that Mancini was losing, so it hurt us even more. I never really got him as a manager."

Bridge did not stop there, going on to question Mancini's managerial ability before claiming the title Man City won under him was more down to their vast array of expensive talent.

He explained: "All credit to what he did at Manchester City when winning the league, so City fans will love him, but if you look at the players and the squad that he had, that's what won it, not him as a manager.”

your wrong Wayne Bridge ?

no player has to love or be loved by the manager in fact its better having little contact out side of training with the manager. the best managers wants a reaction from you and the love hate is part of the make up of a top manager

mancini had the hardest job in football for a start at manchester city. the media was after him because of what was reported by skysports of him sitting in the stands watched mark hughes get the sack ??. but mancini had to take on fergie and united and try and win manchester city the title after 44 years

Wayne Bridge should man up and stop using the media to do his dirty washing
mancini is loved at manchester city and in italy because he is a winner and sometimes the truth hurts

I posted up his interview about Mancini, which also includes Balotelli here if anyone is interested.

Is that the same Wayne Bridge who couldn't stop the gargoyle that is John Terry shagging his misses?
His best moment in a city shirt was him not shaking his girlfriends shagpieces hand. Even that was upstaged by De Jong & Bellamy the pitch.
Useless defender, useless lover (allegedly, ((in fact no, useless lover to let that thing hide in the wardrobe & get his end away with the misses))
The bloke was a mercenary & was here because we couldn't afford anyone better.
The fucker should be more appreciative of his former boss, not crawling out of the woodwork 10 years later.

Posted on this in the other thread.

That last paragraph makes zero sense, effectively 'all credit' for winning the title but you did nothing.

It must have just been a huge coincidence that all of our important players improved hugely from the point where he took over (most of them have never played better throughout their careers).

Absolute fucking bollocks - fuck off back to the jungle Bridge you bitter twat..................

* Mods apologies for the language but this hatchet job really annoyed me

Mancini will always be a legend at our club. Winning our first trophy after 35 years, ripping that banner down, which he said he would do. Winning our first title after 44 years, the 6-1, giving it to Ferguson the bully on the touchline.

Wayne Bridge will be remembered more for the fact that John Terry allegedly had an affair with his girlfriend rather than anything he achieved in his football career. That says it all.
And us paying 90 grand a week of his 100 grand wages to be at Brighton, so he could keep tabs on his young missus

Maybe I'll have to treat myself and watch a few old games back.

I still haven't managed to see Kolarov's performance vs Southampton yet. I was in Jamaica at the time.
Kolarov had at least a bullet of a left peg.
Bridge had a.... lucky break to get a big money move after his missus decided his football was more exciting than their bedroom

Bridge was crap and gutless. How he ever had the mentality to make a footballer is beyond me. Kolarov was a disgrace at Southampton that time but he's twice the player and man that Bridge is

Fuck him.

Admitted recently that he got Nedum to pretend to injure him so he could get away with hurting himself whilst he was on a jolly the week before. If I had the means I would take him to court and sue him to return the wages he was paid whilst he was here, never did a single thing of note.

I'll represent you if you like...

£500 upfront fee, after you pay me I'll let you in on the fact that you can't bring an action in civil law more than six years after the event.

Anyone remember Bridge's performance in the 3-3 home draw v Burnley in one of Hughes's last games in charge ? He was absolutely dreadful that day. Looked like a pub team player. No wonder Mancini wanted an upgrade on him.

See now that's just Roberto not being understanding of Wayne's limitations.

Simple this hack job isn't it?

I remember a 2-1 away defeat at Hull in Mancini's first season which Bridge played. He was pretty poor.
