Setanta have us linked with this player nicknamed the Maradona of the Andes.

From site:

Manchester City are being linked with Roberto Merino, a player nicknamed ‘the Maradona of the Andes’.

The Peruvian forward is likely to be made available for transfer by Italian minnows Salernitana and the player’s agent claims City are one of a number of clubs chasing his client's signature.

Genoa and Fiorentina are keen to keep him in Italy, but it is being claimed that there is interest from around Europe.

”Merino can play in a number of positions, a little like Maradona, and it is clear may teams want him,” his agent Jose Alberti told Tutto Mercato.

”Manchester City are in the race for his signature, on Monday they will be in Salerno to make their offer because Merino is the ideal foil for Robinho and Elano.

”Galatasaray have also asked about him, but his preference is to remain in Italy.”

Unless there's no alternative, I'd go for a player with Premiership experience
