Robinho Due Back

don't understand most City fans on here regarding Robinho........we bought a striker and played him on the wing!
I'm sure Tevez would struggle as a winger too, Brazil know how to play him....up front attacking the defence.
We should take no shit from him though......he either plays his arse off or sits in the reserves for the remainder of his contract, his decision.

/\ this

I think there's a role for him with the imminent departure of Bellers and us beefing up the midfield, plus Ireland played his best along side Rob.

I honestly think he could make a comeback, he's a class act and with Mancini's guidance there is a genuine opportunity for him to fight for his place next season but it all depends on his personal motivation. At the end of the day he's a blue, so get behind him if he does comeback and lets hope we can all see the Robinho we all know he can be. If he doesn't want to comeback then lets get the best deal we possibly can for him, learn from the experience and move on.

Mancini's guidance so far has been to wave him goodbye as soon as he could. The talk when he came as manager was now we'll see what a good manager does with Robinho but he left. Interesting times ahead.

He didn't have time to talk to him mid-season so it's best to get any unhappy, potentially disruptive players out as quickly as possible. Time for talking is now or after the World Cup when people's heads have been cleared and decisions are easier.

The reason behind him leaving for Santos was the world cup......Brazil have a policy, if you don't play every time you don't get in the squad, Mancini couldn't give him every game...simples. (same reason Elano left us)

He couldn't give him ANY games after that dire display at Everton. And as Simonk says 'he is a cock'. And a dim one at that.
