And Hands up if you got a response too ! The quality of the relationship between the club and the fans is becoming more impressive by the week.

I recieved this response back from the club not long after the Club refuted the nonsense.

Thanks for your email. I share your concerns about spurious stories such as these and therefore, as soon as this particular one started to break we wanted to “put it to bed” quickly. We therefore released a short statement on the official site, including a quote from Garry. We wanted to quash, as swiftly as possible, any concerns that fans might have about this matter and also to prevent the “story” from being picked up and developed upon by the wider media.
