Robinho - King Of The City.

Robinho is the most gifted player we have ever had the privilige of seeing at City.

You know, they complain about england never winning anything, then go on to say England has great players but never great managers.

In the past it has been said that players in England have their abilities coached out of them at a very young age. Now my view is that Robinho was going through this process (of having the ability coached out of him) under Hughes. I can see why he didn't really take to him (Hughes). Maybe this is why England never win anything??

I think Mancini will offer Robbie a whole different perspective of playing for City.

Now that Hughes is out of the way and we have a winning manager with a winning mentality that can play football, lets give Robbie some time eh?

Hi Scorer

I agree to let Robbie have some time. But most gifted player ever at City?

No.

I'd drive that idle Brazilian twat to the airport, Bellamy is by far and away our greatest player since Frannie Lee.

Oh dear at the moment bellamy is on form and robbie is off form but when robbies is on form he can produce far more than bellamy could ever dream of , he scored more goals in his first season than bellamy ever has in any premier season.

Excellent point.

Bellamy is a good player and his attitude is spot on.

Robinho is a different class, but he's not with it at the moment.

I don't know why some people insist on making it into a player v player situation though. Last time I looked they both played for MCFC.

Hi Sharon, long time no see... missed you.

Well on his day he is on a par with Messi, trouble is he doen't have as many days as I would like... hopefully that will change.

Hope you're keeping well.

I'm fucking sick of this. You post in one thread defending Robinho, and another one crops up. Here's some facts re Robbie/Bellamy:
1. When Robbie was playing at the start of the season we won every game.
2. When Robbie got injured to be replaced by the Welsh Messi, we barely won another game. That's despite having a winnable run of games.
3. When Robbie came back against Hull, ok we only drew, but people conveniently forget that we were winning when Robbie was taken off.
4. When Robbie was replaced by the Welsh Messi for the away game at Bolton, we were losing 3-2 when Robbie was brought on. We went on to rescue a point 3-3 with ten men.
5. When Robbie started against Chelsea we won 2-1.
6. Ok we lost 3-0 at Spurs. We won't be the last top team to lose there. All Robbie's fault? Obviously.
7. Back to old ways against Sunderland, when we scrape a win 4-3 without Robbie.
8. Robbie back for comfortable 2-0 win against Stoke.
Never let the facts get in the way of a good witch hunt eh?

The facts are that he's playing shit and looks ill at ease with the pace of the Premier League.

You can spin anything to give you the "facts" that you want!
