People's perceptions of him were damaged by a fair few slagging him off for not running around like Bellamy. Like fools many people judged him during a period
where he wasn't fit....just like they did with Tevez.

Pretty sure 80% of the posters on here would sooner see a pair of cloggers up front.

Did my fucking head in, people going on about his work-rate regardless of how hard he worked.

he sweats more than any player on the pitch every week.

he is only 9 stone and wasn't bought to tackle back.

he is the reason people should pay in to games. when the lad was on his game he was incredible.

it was too early in our development to get that 'type' of player
