robinho to santos

I couple of days ago the president of santos was denying this, saying they couldn't afford him, had had no contact with city and that fans shouldn't get their hopes up.

Source is Santos web page.

Not gonna happen.

We aren't going to pay £100,000 a week (presuming Santos pick up £70,000) to a loan player. It's either sell him, or keep him.

Besides, this is City admitting defeat over our 'superstar' player, and I presume that the Sheik and Khaldoon will look like tits in the eyes of the world. Not something I can see them readily agreeing to.

Clever stuff Invisible Blueman, how on earth did you work that out? So it looks like Robhino is leaving us for Santos, according to the radio, well good luck to him and thanks for being at City, if it is true - then trust him to leave us with a goal - at long last.

He just needs support. Give it and he will give it back for sure. Some players take longer to adapt to this league. Hope he will do it

Shouldnt take 2years though.

But mancini sais hes staying so who knows.

He played very well today. Getting sharper, great goal, some excellent touches, intelligent movement, signs of confidence and fitness returning. One fucking hell of a player when on form...

If we were to allow this utterly ridiculous suggested move to happen I would have serious questions over the sanity of everyone involved at City.

Staunch Mancini supporter, love the owners, CEO and Chairman, but even I would struggle to understand how the fuck they could be just that stupid.

That would suggest they are raving lunatics.

Hopefully Mancini's comments mean this is either mischief or mistranslation. The Santos thing has been mooted before - could be old quotes?

Robinho MUST stay and we MUST be able to get the best out of him, and players like him, if we are ever to break this cycle of stupidity leading to unbearable shitness.

Sounds like shit stirring to me. However if Robinho wants to go then there is no point in keeping him. I saw his confidence returning this evening and the goal will surely go a long way in cementing that confidence. Get behind him and help him; that's our part of the bargain; I want him to stay put and prove to everyone that we have been wrong about him. It's up to Robinho at the end of the day

If not then bye and thanks.....
