Oi chill man, how is it possible that this is a wind up ?? I was simply asking a question for others thoughts.

Well!! I hope he was round at Kaka's house in milan convincing him to come to city and him being totally convinced that city is the place for him. Then some top city officials sort out the transfer and his wages and he is announced on Monday!!

How good would that be...... I can dream?

Have Milan left Dubai..?

Any manager worth his salt would have at least had him on the bench yesterday. If there was one player forest were frightened of, it was him. Our three best attacking players this season have been Ireland, swp and robinho, so with Ireland already out, surely you have to play the other two.

I was fuming when I saw robinho was'nt playing. I think it was really bad management that hughes did'nt play exactly the same team as at Blackburn, minus Ireland, they would have been buzzing after that comeback. Might as well not had that comeback now, we havee lost all the benefit to team spirit etc after yesterday.

and look what happened to swp
out for 5 weeks
im glad he didnt play robbie as this is exactly why he didnt a pointless injury in a game which isn't that important to us at present

the official voice of the club says he was injured yesterday, in other words, hughes under estimated forest and rested robbo

I am beginning to believe some reports in the press that Robby picks his game. Why else would you leave your top goalscorer out of the team and not even have him on the bench just in case. He has scored something like 11 in 15 games, most of them at home.

We were playing NOTTINGHAM FOREST. Is it so out of the ordinary that the manager would rest his best player in a game we should comfortably win with our reserves? I recall Sven fielding reserve sides in both cups last year.

Sure, it backfired. But if Robinho had played and picked up an injury in this game Hughes would have been lynched.

FFS!!!!!

robinho had a tight thigh muscle...ireland a hamstring injury.....If MH had played them yesterday and then they had got injured he would have been crucified by certain so called "fans".......this witch hunt by the some fans and even ex city players/supporters in the media is an absolute disgrace......its not MH who is a joke....its people like this that are....

We have seen many times this season, that we need as many of those three playing as possible to get results. We were knocked out of the other cup at brighton for falling into the same trap. No need to rest anyone, its not as if we had a midweek game, the players had a full week to rest after this game. We are not in the same position as the top teams, we have seen time and time again this season, that we have to play our best players, without them we are not good enough.

For those that say whatever team we turn out we should be good enough to beat the likes of forest, well history suggests thats not the case in the FA cup, and especially our history. If you underestimate them then you cant really blame the players for doing the same, its all about having the right attitude and winning mentality, like the utds and chelseas of this world, who almost always go out with the same attitude no matter who they are playing and very rarely get beaten by teams like forest.

United have been beaten by the likes of York (3-0 at Old Trafford) and Coventry in recent years. Liverpool turned over by Burnley and Barnsley. Chelsea by Barnsley. Held by Southend. Arsenal by Burnley

Its just the nature of the cup.

So you are suggesting that we dont play some people in case they get injured, thats part and parcel of the game. You could take the point of view that if Robinho was playing, then all the attacking onus would'nt have been on swp and he may not have got injured.

There is no way I believe Robinho was injured. In my opinion, unless you have got a fantastic squad like the top teams, then you should always play your best team and let the next game take care of itself.
