Robinho.

He tracked back for once which was good but when he went forward he was awful, he did a nice flick to Ade but that was it. He couldnt even beat Ivanovic for pace so for a defender its easy, show him out wide on to his left foot and job done, cant use his left foot to put a decent ball in and if you block off the route inside he is useless. I know all the Robinho bummers are going to come and say bullshit or whatever and hes only just back from injury but last season he was average and only shone in a few games so how you can say his peformance last night was brilliant is beyond me.

Average and useless are not the first words that come to mind to describe Robinho.
He wasn`t brilliant yesterday, but he as only just come back into the team.
He was average enough to play out wide last year and still be our top scorer.
So yes bullshit is a word that comes to mind.

People who knock Robinho make me laugh and are probably the same folk who used to call Anelka week in and week out.

Last week against Hull in his first game back after injury he could quite easily have bagged a hat trick.

Yesterday he worked like a trooper and the way he beamed for the camera when congratulating Tevez on his goal suggests that he is certainly in the mood to get himself onto the scoresheet. I think we're in for a treat over the next few weeks.

Well, to be fair it IS bullshit.

It would appear that the only thing that appears 'beyond you' is a basic understanding of football.

Try tiddlywinks or something.

He's certainly not an average player but he was no more than average yesterday.Makes me laugh when people say they can't wait to see him flying past defenders again.Er he has no pace so unless he is in around the box and can use his fantastic skill in a tite spot he is not going past anyone.

He has no pace???

For me the best individual piece of skill shown all game was when Bridge gave Robi the ball tight on the left hand touch line with 2 Chelsea players on him about midway through the first half. Robi controlled it, and then scooped the ball up with the outside of his right foot down the line to where Bridge was running on to it. It was a syublime piece of skill - far and away better than anything Chelsea produced.

I had sky plussed the game and was interested to see what the commentators said about it later on telly. Know what they said? Bugger all. Champion was going on about some bollocks or other and completely missed it, and sadly Big Joe wouldn't know sublime skill if it twatted him on the nose and said 'hello my name's Kinkladze'.
