If we had a robinho who was commited and played 100% all of the time it would be great, he did show some great touches today in his cameo role ,but i doubt we will see him commited to anyone but himself, bless him its a shame because he could quite easily be a city legend .
simply put, it's my opinion he can't play on the left of 4-4-2 in the prem. bellamy was average tonight, but, his direct approach and willingness to dribble at full pelt caused blackburn serious problems. when robbie came on, he started taking touches, and they could move forward. once he got into the final third, he was absolutely brilliant.
look bottom line is Robby is world class, end of... he is now being played in his best area on the field, anyone even remotely negative about seeing Robby and Carlos linking up and doing the business is basically fukin morose and idiotic!!
the lad is having no luck in front of goal either, just needs one to go in off his arse or something.
the strike he had from outside the box was a cracking effort, he always works the keeper.
as has been said above he is not a left winger, problem really is that he is never going to displace Carlos in order to play central and I can't really see Carlos and Robbie being a forward partnership.
I agree with a lot thats being said, both good and bad.
What was most important for me is he came on and had a rocket up his arse. You can't doubt his ability.
He had some typically soft moments where he over-ran the ball and got knocked off it, but he also had some quality ones.
He's a big asset for any team, and going on his cameo last night he's keen to get back to his best.
