Went to watch the mighty Dale last saturday, they beat Barnet 2-1 to go 4th in Div 2.


Other results went Rochdales way, Chesterfield beating league leaders Bournemouth and Rotherham only managing to scrape a draw against Hereford.

I've a feeling that this season Dale just might escape Div 2

as a Middleton lad and a Blue by birth I still find all this very hard to take - you look at the PL teams under investigation for the most part simply due to investment but alleged fit and proper persons have stripped away the footballing heart of many a town. Still remember Ernie a dapper man who worked with my Dad walking up the street to get the 163 to Heywood on to see his beloved Bury - Ernie would be turning in his grave

Rochdale AFC takeover MUST happen before end of March or club faces liquidation
