Hank Snow - I've Been Everywhere

He was a Nova Scotian so quite a practical type, it doesn't qualify from a timing perspective but if you want to know how to dispose of a completely frozen body then listen to The Ballad of Blasphemous Bill.
 
Thanks to everybody who took part in the discussion and/or contributed to to Country & Folk playlist.

It was interesting to research and hear where the 20th Century origins of my favourite genre, Americana, came from. I must admit that whilst I enjoyed some of it, particularly Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash, Clifton Chenier, The Everly Brothers and Lead Belly, I think that it's a genre that has improved vastly over the years (once you ditch the country schmaltz that is!)
