4th and final offering is my favourite Queen song.
Sheer Heart Attack

It was, you are correct. I just used the albums release to shoe horn it in last time out!Apologies for including “Telephone Line” by ELO.
In my defence, Wikipedia said it was released as a single in May 1977.

I was going for Ram Jam, but beaten to it by BimboBob! I really like the video for some reason, so am posting it up! The song features a great riff and decent solo guitar from Bill Bartlett, despite some slightly iffy lyrics!
A whole month?!!! Hope you gave a great time wherever you are going, but does this mean you won't be nominating in the album thread tomorrow? (or for the next month).A nice write up mate, and a good selection of songs.
I'm steaming in with three of my choices now, as I'm about to go on holiday for a month tomorrow.
Black Betty - Ram Jam
Orgasm Addict - Buzzcocks
Hiroshima Mon Amour - Ultravox!
I'll be sending you the album write up later if you can do the honours.A whole month?!!! Hope you gave a great time wherever you are going, but does this mean you won't be nominating in the album thread tomorrow? (or for the next month).

Playboy album of the year I think.Santana's Moonflower was a strange album, as it was a mixture of studio and live songs interspersed throughout a double album. The standout for me is a song written by Rod Argent and originally recorded by the Zombies in 1964, the year I was born.
She's Not There - Santana
It's also rather good for history. And beaches for the mutt. Oh...and a record shop. We are staying next to Skara Brae for the week there with loads of island hopping. Pity all the digs finish before we arrive.Nice trip mate. Orkney is mega for Brown Trout fishing :-). Have a great time.
Totally get where you coming from with Fleetwood Mac @Southampton Blue but it was ten tracks that had a profound impact on me in 1977.Good write up, agree that Ann Wilson has/had the most powerful female voice in rock (but Lizzy Hale in Halestorm presently, would match her) Foreigner, known for ballads, but imo their 'rock' songs are much better.....however, 1977 and you didn't even mention Fleetwood Mac released 'Rumours' !!!!!!!!
I would nominate..
Fleetwood Mac - Go your own way.
AC/DC - Let there be rock.
UFO - Love to love.
