I've never understood why we only sing a little snippet of the chorus of that song. It's a real shame because a good rendition of a greater proportion of that song would sound great sung on the terraces. Even if we just sang the whole of the chorus properly...

Although Rod killed it in that vid, it's a good song. There are dozens of cover versions. Unless I'm mistaken I'm sure I've read that only one song (an Elvis song I think) has had more cover versions than Blue Moon.

You're right about it being covered. Go on spotify and type in bluemoon, it's mind-blowing. I think orchestrating more verses could prove difficult. To get 15k fans singing a couple of stanzas in-tune is one thing, but more might see us ducking out of the X-Factor at the next round.
