Whent to our supporters Meeting last night and the guest speaker was Rodney marsh

Got to say lads he's a very funny charachter with a more than interesting career and life and fair play to the guy he was very open, he told us he's visiting other supporters branches so if u get a chance go and see him

And a big well done to the lads at our branch for there hard work in getting Rodney down

I am a blue who moved to warrington from Stockport 6 years ago , used to be in the reddish branch , where do you meet now ? I would not mind coming along i know you used to meet in the king and queen in Padgate ?

Whatever else Rodney Marsh is , entertainment has always been his game .... entertaining on the pitch , and entertaining off it ..... he's an old skool character who's never been afraid to speak his mind , no matter how controversial it is ..... i can just imagine him and Malcomn Allison together back in the seventies , it must have been a 'riot'

it's hard to believe he's 66 years of age now .......

i'm not suprised to hear that it was a top night.

Hiya mate we meet at the Hawthorne I think it's called behind the original wire near the rugby ground, cracking group of lads mate and the branch is growing every week, all the lads who arrange it all put everything into it and our last 3 meetings have been vicky kloss, mike buzzer and rodney marsh me normally meet first Thursday of the month but recently it has been mondays due to tickets and speakers etc I will find out details and pm u about When next meeting will be mate, il pm you later in week about it mate

met Rodney & Mike Summerbee in the City shop in December when they were signing their books, both top quality guys who were well up for a chat about City etc.

Some of the story's he told us at first seemed far fetched but I've had a scroll through Internet and he is as genuine as they come pal, he was telling us a story of when he played for england v Ireland and alf Ramsay said he was watchin him closely and that if he weren't working hard he would pull him off after 45mins, so Rodney replied bloody he'll alf at man city we only get a cup of tea and an orange!!

He never played for England again!

Top bloke and I bought his book too which he signed, plus he signed a city top for my little lad, just one of them nights that will stick forever mate
