So you choose this situation to create an opportunity to try and dig out Grealish and Stones both of whom were just now essential to our equalising goal against Arse, not to mention key to our treble-winning season. ACL injury at elite level means surgery. Even in an incomplete injury the ligament is stretched and is extremely unlikely to recover normal function. Any further injury can then result in meniscus damage so not worth taking the risk.
