Let's be fair; he's yet to be given an opportunity here to kick on. He played better than people give him credit for last season. He came on versus West Ham, made an immediate impact, and hasn't touched the pitch since. I'm sure Pep has his reasons, but it's almost impossible to get any momentum built when you're not playing consistently.Trouble is he hasn't really kicked on from then. I remember his performance against us and he looked ready made for the top level but hasn't seemed to improve at his time at wolves or with us. It's an option, and he is the most logical replacement on paper having played a similar role early in his career but I would expect we just play Kovacic.
