I wasn't really, but it's an option. I think people are writing Ake off too absolutely, as if he's completely finished. He was fine against Sunderland, from what I saw, and he's still a skilled reader of the game, and that counts when pace starts to go a bit. He'll go in the summer, but can still do a job till then. Central defence of Ake and Khusa seems good enough to me. Rodri and Nico G in midfield is much more solid than one or the other, where Chelsea were visibly slicing through us towards the end.Are you thinking about Rodri in central defence with Khusanov alongside him, and Gonzalez in midfield?
Something I'm not clear about: is Nico O'R fit or not?
